BANDWAGON. I IS ON IT. (creative name no? *eyebrow waggle*)
lol so many of my favourite artists (any many others of course) have all done one of these.
Here be my rendition of Black Rock Shooter!
done on SAI (and Photoshop cs4) in...many...many hours.

I kinda like how rough it turned out! I decided to keep the sketch layer on in the end adds a nice effect. Also used a TON of textures as you can probably tell..mmmm....grainy...

I i realize her pose and the way she is sitting isn't anatomically correct, I just couldn't give a crap to go and fix it 8D
